Let's make certain

Ole Marcus wants to make one thing crystal clear here: he don't hate Mormons. He is extremely zealous/jealous for God and (the real) Jesus. He wants Mormons to know that they follow a false prophet. He wants Mormons to know that they really can have eternal life. Take a look at this website; it can say it much better than ole Marcus.

  1. You do hate Mormons Marcus because you only go after them. If you went after every religion in the book then I would take you seriously, but since you are only bashing Mormons, you either hate Mormons, or at best are prejudiced against them. This IS a Mormon bashing web page, whether you want to admit it or not.

  2. Mormons just happen to be the most convenient talking point right now.

Wes, you wouldn't take me seriously even if I told you that your hair was on fire.

You aren't taking the higher road.

  3. I've already got the high road kid, it is you who has set up a web page dedicated to attacking my religion. Prima Facia evidence that places me on the high road above you. Now go set up a web page that attacks Islam, or are you chicken?

  4. Marcus, great site. I appreciate the material and easy to digest info. It's not new to me; I was almost sucked into Mormonism once years ago, while living overseas. Christians willing to illuminate the truth are few and far between; it's amazing to me how few are able to cite even the most fundamental differences between Mormonism and biblical Christianity. My nearly being deceived by American missionary "sisters" was all the catalyst I needed to start digging in and studying apologetics, hermeneutics and systematic theology.

FWIW, I mentioned Islam in a less-than-favorable light on my blog a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't believe a major Christian magazine was devoting 4 pages to an interview with a "progressive" Muslim.

  5. Marie,

Thanks for visiting my blog and taking time to comment!

I, too, am shocked at the lack of knowledge of most Christians when it comes to any understanding of other religions. While we don't need to be disciples of Buddha or Muhammad, we should know enough of the major world religions to be able to answer their heresies.

    Please come back often!
